Classic party favourite with a healthy twist, Mini Carrot and Sausage Rolls. Quick and easy snack that is perfect for every occasion from picnic to party.
I have been on and off in blogging recently. I am deeply apologize to all my loyal readers that have been waiting for my new post. Life has been hectic recently with so much stuffs happening during this month, and I couldn’t find any time to write any post.
I have been only publishing 1 article per week since July, which is a drastic decrease from my usual 1 article per day. I know this is bad, but I couldn’t find any time to write any post. Now, for the sake of my readers, I will start to be more organize, and at least post a regular 2 – 3 times per week. I really feel bad for disappointing my readers.
Today, I’m back with old time favourite snacks, Mini carrot and Sausage rolls. Seeing sausage rolls, it reminds me of my University time. Sausage rolls are my best friends, especially during that time when I don’t get enough time to properly grab lunch, I would just eat sausage rolls for lunch.
All university canteen will always have sausage rolls and pie everyday. Well, it’s not freshly made, and honestly, it tastes terrible. It’s hardly edible, but as a student, there is not much you could expect from a university canteen. As long as the food can keep you full, you couldn’t complain much about the taste or quality.
Bye-Bye my University life. If you ask me to eat the canteen sausage rolls again now, I’m not sure whether I could eat it anymore. But, I’m not saying I hate sausage rolls, it just that the quality of the packaged sausage rolls is too horrible. I love making my own sausage rolls sometimes, especially during weekend when Dydy ask for some snacks.
Sausage rolls are so easy to make at home with the puff pastry. Whenever there is a sale of puff pastry, I would buy few to stock my freezer, and make sausage rolls, egg puffs, or breakfast puffs. I also like my sausage rolls in smaller size, compare to long thick sausage rolls. Bite size sausage rolls tempt me more.
