Pecel is one of the most popular Indonesian Salad consists of mixed vegetables like spinach, tofu, tempeh, and beans. Tossed in delicious peanut sauce.

Ingredients
  • 150g baked tofu
  • 150g fry tempeh, slice thinly
  • 1 cup chopped beans
  • 2 cup spinach
  • chips
Peanut sauce
  • 1 cup pecel paste
  • ¼ - ½ cup hot water
Instructions
Peanut Sauce
  1. In a small bowl, add pecel paste and ¼ cup of hot water. Leave it for 5 minutes before stirring.
  2. Stir until all combines and smooth. If you like it to be thinner, add more water. If it's too watery, add more pecel paste. Adjust according to your taste. I personally like my peanut sauce to be thick.
Assorted Vegetables
  1. Prepare and bake tofu for healthier version.
  2. If you don't want to bake tofu, you could also fry the tofu together with tempeh.
  3. Boil chopped beans and spinach until cooked, and drain
  4. Arrange all vegetables and chips in the plate.
  5. Pour peanut sauce on top and toss together
